Uthando Doll first stage of Body project

 I made this doll yesterday and is my second Uthando doll.

Survival parka subject of art;

 In tomorrow's drawing class I am required to bring objects

related to this chosen garment (water bottle, knife) to draw with;

Return of the ephemeral project mud lark;

 I was walking down to Turner Gallery when I came across the wood and wheeled bird I made. Left it a few days in a nearby alley to see if anyone came back for it. 

The Guy who was given it lived nearby; said I could have it back.

I bought a post card of "Siberian Tiger" by Andy Warhol, 1983 when his exhibition came 

to Perth. I did not go, but have since seen more of his works.

I kicked this Blog off with a Potters House link featuring Tony Hoang. I attended some of his sermons in Kenwick during the mid semester break (I started my Diploma course mid year). Once a street gang member Tony is now a Pastor at the Fairfield Potters House.
Fairfield is also the birthplace of Sydney Hardcore band "Massappeal". My first subject this year is screen printing; so I thought I would feature some artwork by Sydney artist Ben Brown that was often printed onto T-Shirts. We are however encouraged to steer clear of T-shirt art and take our inspiration from Pop Artists.
